Lake Forest-based Kwikset recently announced that its SmartCode 914 Touchpad Electronic Deadbolt, with Home Connect technology, has been added to Comcast’s Xfinity Home platform. The first lock of its kind, the SmartCode 914 Touchpad Electronic Deadbolt will allow customers to lock and unlock doors remotely by using the Xfinity Home app via smartphone, tablet, or computer. The lock integrates with home security and automation systems, allowing the locks to communicate with other wireless products in the home including a touch screen controller, indoor and outdoor cameras, light switches, motion sensors, thermostats, water detectors, and more. The SmartCode 914 also offers the aesthetic benefits of a best-in-class reduced interior size.
